Pick Of The Week

The Serenity Now

Frank is supposed to say "serenity now" every time his blood pressure is in danger of going up. Jerry's girlfriend gives his Knicks tickets away. She comments that she has never seen him get "real mad." George gets Kramer to help him fix his parents' screen door. They remove the old door and Kramer takes it with him. Frank is selling computers; he wants to bring George into his business. Lippman's boy tries taking advantage of becoming a man at his bar mitzvah by using his tongue while kissing Elaine. Kramer installs the screen door outside his apartment to give his apartment "the cool even breezes of Anytown, USA." His initial instinct is to quit, but George decides it is finally time to take on his arch-nemesis, Lloyd Braun, whom Frank has also hired to sell computers. When Jerry learns how to get mad, it releases all his other feelings, including caring and another that results in a proposal. Kramer fights with the neighborhood kids of "Anytown, USA." George tells Elaine she is attractive to the Lippman men because of her "shiksappeal." The result gets her two Lippman "men" who want to denounce their religion. George hatches a scheme to sell more computers; however, continual use of the phrase "serenity now" has an "impact" on computer sales. The release of emotions from George has an impact on emotional Jerry. Elaine seeks help from a "rabbi" to see if she can reduce her "shiksappeal."

This Week
She is a little old lady who lived in New York. She possibly moved to Florida or was there on vacaction. Either way, she didn't like Jerry. Jerry stole a rye from her on the street. "Give me that rye, you old bag!" Yeah, she remembered him so well that her vote cost Jerry's father an election. She very well screwed Jerry in the end, The Final. Who was she?

Do you know who this is? If so E-mail

The Lucky Person is...
MKadlub got interviewed this week!
By: Ivy
TOP

Seinfeld10:   Thank you Michael for taking the time to do this interview with me.
MKadlub:   Thanks for the opportunity.
Seinfeld10:   So, please tell me Michael, what is your favorite Seinfeld episode and why?
MKadlub:   It would have to be the Contest.
MKadlub:   Basically they had a show about something that is taboo in society without ever mentiontiong the Masturbation word, and yet everyone and their mother knew exactly what was going on.
Seinfeld10:   That's true and very well done if you ask me. So, how about answering last weeks poll for me now. Who are your favorite parent's, Jerry's or George's and why?
MKadlub:   Frank and Estelle.....  basically for better quotes...
MKadlub:   Frank:.. "Serenity Now", "The Mansier", "The person who sells the most computers will get a waterpik."
MKadlub:   Estelle..:"I come home from work and find my son treating himself like an amusement park"
MKadlub:   Frank:." Hey that is my move... I stopped short"
MKadlub:   Estelle:" Georgy, what is the singles scene like,.... I am out there"
Seinfeld10:   Those are some great quotes. So, tell me, who is your favorite MAIN character and why?
MKadlub:    Tie.. Cosmo.. and Elaine.
Seinfeld10:   Why do you say them?
MKadlub:   Elaine.. HOT, "Get Out", Hair, Sexy bod, love the glasses look (very intellectual, yet sensual), and of course the naughty recording she left Jerry.
MKadlub:    Kramer: wanted to name his kid Isocseles, open a restaurant PB & J's, TCB at Leiland Brand (Takin Care of Business), Yo Yo Ma, Giddy Up, and making his place look like a ski lodge with levels.
Seinfeld10:   Yeah, he had some pretty crazy ideas. Which one would you say if your favorite?
MKadlub:   Drying his clothes before wearing them and the Coffee table book about Coffee tables because the book turns into a coffee table.
MKadlub:   And according to Regis.."This guy is Bonkers"
Seinfeld10:   Hehe, yeah he is.
Seinfeld10:   Well, Michael, I think that's about all the time we have for tonight....I hear you send out a Seinfeld trivia e-mail, wanna plug it and tell us about it?
MKadlub:    Well.. basically I send out one question a day, and the answer to the previous day's question. It is called Jerrvia (a combo of Jerry and Trivia obviously), and it is done like a web page with photos, and colored, scrolling font. If anyone would like to be a part of this list, shoot me an email at mkadlub|at|aol.com.
MKadlub:   One more thing.. I think Elaine would find me Sponge-worthy :)
Seinfeld10:   Hehe, thanks! And any last words to the readers out there?
MKadlub:   Happy Seinfeld watching to everyone out there...  when life has you down, you just need to tel yourself, "Serenity Now, and "Giddy Up"....
Seinfeld10:   Thanks again Michael!

What to be the next person to be interviewed?
Put me on your buddy list and IM me anytime after 9 (eastern time).

Remember the Time When...
By: Ivy

Elaine was hungry in The Chinese Restaurant?

Elaine: Ya know, its not fair people are seated First Come First Served, It should be based on who's hungriest. I feel like just going over there and taking some food off somebody's plate.
Jerry: I'll tell you what, there's 50 bucks in it for you if you do it.
Elaine: What do you mean?
Jerry: You walk over that table, you pick up an eggroll, you don't say anything, you eat it, say 'thank you very much', wipe your mouth, walk away- I give you 50 bucks.
George: What are they gonna do?
Jerry: They won't do anything; in fact, you'll be giving them a story to tell for the rest of their lives.
Elaine: 50 bucks, you'll give me 50 bucks?
Jerry: 50 bucks. That table over there, the three couples.
Elaine: OK, I don't wanna go over there and do it, and then come back here and
find out there was some little loophole, like I didn't put mustard on it or something...
Jerry: No, no tricks.
Elaine: Should I do it, George?
George: For 50 bucks? I'd put my face in the soup and blow.

If anyone has any ideas to make this better or moments that they want "remembered," e-mail me.

Reader's Poll
By: Andy

Last Week's Question:
Whose parents are your favorite?

George 12
Jerry 2

George's parents are absolutely hysterical. They remind me of my own parents--hyper-sensitive, unreasonable, dramatic. It's super funny how the characters exaggerate traits that we all see in parents, and people who have been married for too long! Lucky for me, my parents get a kick out of it when I call them the Castanza's.  :)
AnnaWhelan
|at|aol.com

Georges are great, they are exactly like every jewish set of parents, and ironically unlike jerrys parents they are not jewish, they are just the normal american family.
KLUGER602
|at|aol.com

I love George's parents. I wish they had their own show.
gourdhaid|at|prodigy.net

Jerry's parents because George's mom whines more. Also, Jerry's parent's had the courage to move to Florida.

KelSpirit12|at|aol.com

George's parents are hilarious. Frank has to be one of the funniest characters on Seinfeld. The perfect example is when Susan has the doll that looks like Estelle.  Then Frank rips off the head after he hears her voice coming from the doll. I know the Seinfelds do that whole bit where they are on the phone together but as funny as that is-it doesn't compare to Geroge's parents.

Stand Up
By: Chris
TOP

Whenever you ask for a doggie bag at a restuarant, there's a certain sense of failure there, isn't there? People always whisper it to the waiter, "Uh, excuse me. Can I get the doggie bag? I, uh, I-I couldn't make it" It's embarrassing, beacuse the doggie bag means either you're out on a restaurant when you're not hungry, or you've chosen the stupidest possible way there is to get dog food.
How about the doggie bag on a date? There's a good move. Let me tell you, if you're a guy and you ask for the doggie bag on a date, you might as well just have them wrap up your genitals too. You're not going to be needing them for a while, either.
